A couple of news items from West Boca Medical Center:
1. The hospital announced its two “heroes” for the second quarter of 2012, employees who went “above and beyond” to help patients and the community.
The heroes are Ruby Ganga, who works with the registration of birth certificates, and Barbara Lee, a labor and delivery nurse. Lee is known for celebrating employees’ big life events.

2. The hospital won a “Five Star” award from Healthgrades for Excellence in Maternity Care. That was also mentioned in a report from Miami’s CBS 4.
West Boca was also rated 5-star for gynecologic surgery. See this healthgrades pdf, page 27.
