The Walmart on the southeast corner of Palmetto Park and 441 will reopen as a Supercenter this summer. West Boca News spoke with reliable sources who expect the store to open in August or September.
We spoke with a few people who seemed knowledgeable and credible. Most of these insiders indicated it will be a Supercenter. One thought it might be a Neighborhood Market but the Supercenter theory seems more credible.
The most authoritative source said that the area demographics had improved to make it viable for this store. Judging by generally positive reader response to our previous stories, we’d say they’re right.
Work is clearly under way.
