In Jacob’s Shoes, a Non profit Foundation providing new and gently used shoes to children in need, is having its 4th Annual Celebration on May 1st, 2014. The party will be at the Lakeside Terrace, 7880 Glades Road in Boca Raton, from 6 to 8 p.m. The night will include dinner, an open bar, live and silent auctions and entertainment. In Jacob’s Shoes was formed in memory of Jacob S. Zweig. The foundation awards grants and scholarships for camps, sports and enrichment programs. They also collect new and gently used shoes. Over 27 thousand shoes have been donated to children in need as of March 2013. Drop box locations in Boca can be found at Just Shoe n’ Me, Styles Boutique, Busy Body Fitness Center and Salon Oasis.
