4th Annual Celebrating everyBODY Walk

whywewalkThe 4th Annual Celebrating everyBODY: a walk for eating disorder awareness takes place on February 28th at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton. Proceeds benefit The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and activities aimed at outreach and education related to health promotion including all eating disorders, positive body image and self-esteem. The Alliance works to prevent eating disorders and promote a positive body image by offering educational presentations, support groups, advocacy and a toll-free national phone help line.
The 2015 Alliance Walk will start at the Pond Apple Pavilion at 9:30 a.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The Walk is one mile. All proceeds raised at the walk remain in Florida and pay for printing, production and shipping of the Florida Eating Disorders Referral Guide. The pre-registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for those under 18 years. Pets are an additional $5. The first 650 participants registered will receive an event t-shirt and girft bag.
