311 in Concert at Sunset Cove Amphitheater

311pictureAEG Live Presents 311 on July 26th at Sunset Cove Amphitheater. The opening act is The Expendables. According to their website, 311 mix rock, rap, reggae, and funk into their own unique sound. Formed in 1990, the band has released 10 studio albums, one live album and one greatest hit album. Their latest, Stereolithic, was released on March 11, 2014.
 

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day of the show. Tickets will be available at a pop up window at noon. You can buy tickets online. Leave chairs, strollers, coolers and pets at home!
 

Disney's Mulan Jr. at the Levis JCC

mulanThe SOL Children Theatre Performing Arts Summer Camp is presenting Disney’s Mulan Jr. at the Levis JCC today at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All tickets are $10. The Beifield Auditorium is located at 9801 Donna Klein Blvd in Boca Raton. Mulan Jr. is a stage adaptation of the Disney film about a young woman who takes up arms disguised as a boy to spare her father from having to serve in the army. The music and lyrics are catchy. Evacuation at Cinemark

Update: Some readers are now telling us the incident was a false alarm, and they had a similar incident a few days ago.

Readers tipped us off to an evacuation at the Cinemark Theaters on Airport Road in the city of Boca Raton. One reader sent us the above image of a Boca Raton fire truck in the parking lot.
We checked on Twitter and found one tweet about the evacuation:

And one reader messaged us that he was in a movie that had 10 minutes left when the alarms started going off.
We will update the story if we learn more about it.
