There are state of the art exercise rooms, basketball courts, playgrounds and tennis courts. There is also a large pool and spa.

Stonebridge
Stonebridge Golf and Country Club is a gated community located on 441 just north of Clint Moore Road. There are just under four hundred homes. It has a large clubhouse with a state of the art fitness center and many dining options. There is an 18 hole private golf course and 6 Har-Tru tennis courts. Equity membership is required.
The large home at 17628 Charnwood Drive sold for $500,000. Built in 1987, it has 4 bedrooms and 3.1 bathrooms in 3713 sq. feet of living space. Previous transactions include 1996 for $284,000, and 1999 for $315,000.
The beautiful courtyard home at 10957 Ravel Court sold for $485,000. Located in Sonata in Mission Bay, it has 4 bedrooms and 3.1 bathrooms in 2987 sq. feet of living space. Built in 1994, the kitchen and bathrooms were recently remodeled. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The home surrounds a custom free form pool plus private guest house.

The Mission Bay development consists of over twelve hundred homes within 10 “villages.” Certain villages have their own sub-associations. The community is west of 441 and covers 500 acres on both sides of Glades Road. The land includes the Evert Tennis Academy and Boca Prep International School and is near commercial plazas including Sports Authority and Mission Bay Plaza. There are swimming pools, tennis leagues, social events and more. HOA fees vary. Students attend Loggers’ Run Middle School and West Boca High.
11797 Island Lakes Lane located in Loggers Run sold for $520,000. The contemporary home is located in the Island Lakes gated subdivision on the north side of Glades Road. The subdivision has basketball courts, jogging paths and tennis. It’s also only a couple houses from the cul de sac at the end of this short street (only 13 houses).

Boca Isles is in the 33498 zip code. There are two sections, both on the west side of Cain Blvd (west of 441) and just east of South County Regional Park. Boca Isles North is south of Yamato Road and north of Old Everglades-Pump Road (aka Kimberly Blvd). Boca Isles South is south of Kimberly and a little north of Glades Road. The master bathroom has large vanity with double sinks and a frameless shower. The home was built in 1993 and last purchased in 1996 for $320,000.
19746 Black Olive Lane sold for $525,000. This two story home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms in 3493 sq. feet. The high end kitchen has stainless steel appliances and tile flooring. It has a private heated saltwater pool that looks gorgeous on the satellite image. Other features include an outdoor kitchen and large sun room. It was built in 1994 and purchased for $322,000 in 2000. It was last sold for $498,000 in 2013. The house is located at the southwestern corner of the community and the lot also borders Old Everglades-Pump Road near the park, so there may be traffic noise as well as noise issues from the park.

We call them Boca Isles North and Boca Isles South, though we see some references to just “Boca Isles” as well as to a “Boca Isles West.” Sunrise Park Elementary School is nearby. Both are zoned for Eagles Landing Middle and Olympic Heights High School even though West Boca High is a lot closer.

The Shores is another gated community on the north side of Yamato across from South County Regional Park. Within there 11041 Blue Coral Drive sold for $515K on December 1st. It’s a somewhat unusual structure with 4 garage doors. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths and sits on a cul-de-sac. The backyard has a fairly large screened-in area with a pool and a bit of a lake view off to the side.
