The Theater Camp is an exciting, comprehensive four-week theater program for 7-14 year olds that builds to a rewarding final production both parents and camper-actors will be proud of. There is also a four week summer CIT “Apprentice” program that enables young talent to explore not only their creative side but to go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots. Experienced and professional staff are provided by the Chicken Coop Theatre.

There are two sessions: Annie Jr – June 13-July 8 and Legally Blonde Jr – July 11-August 5th. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rates are $1285 for campers ages 7-14 including daily lunch and a commemorative DVD of performance. Campers aged 7-14, if registered by February 1, receive a $100 discount per session. Pre and post care is also available. CIT program is $425 for ages 15-16.

Early Childhood (Ages 2-4) Personalized attention, an extra dose of adult supervision and a whole lot of love make our littlest campers feel safe exploring and discovering a wide range of new experiences in a stimulating environment. Daily fun includes aquatics, sports, music, arts & crafts, entertainment, karate, Zumba, gymnastics and more. With a variety of options, there is a program to fit your schedule. Session 1: June 13 – July 8 (no camp July 4). Session 2: July 11 – August 5 *Children are grouped by the age group/grade they are going into for the 2016-2017 School Year.

Upper Camp (Grades K-9)

Making friends, gaining independence and enjoying exciting new experiences and challenges has never been more fun! Each summer, our Upper Camp kids laugh, learn and connect with each other individually and as a group. Whether working together to problem solve or moving outside of their personal comfort level trying new challenges (trapeze, anyone?), camp gives kids endless opportunities to stretch and grow. Campers enjoy a hot and well-balanced kosher meal and full salad bar daily. Campers in grades 1-4 enjoy late nights, a highlight of the summer, featuring evening swims, scavenger hunts, group games, and dance parties. Field trips, including visits to the water park, the Museum of Discovery and Science/IMAX Theater and sporting events are camper favorites. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Pre & Post Care options are available. Session 1: June 13 – 24; Session 2: June 27 – July 8 (no camp July 4); Session 3: July 11 – July 22; and Session 4: July 25 – August 5 *Children are grouped by the age group/grade they are going into for the 2016-2017 School Year.

Center Stage Performing Arts Theater is very excited to announce 4 different summer camps to be offered this summer. Each camp will highlight a different theme which means your child would be able to take all 4 and learn something brand new each time. Classes begin at 9am and finish at 3PM with the option to drop them off as early as 8am for $10 and offer a variety of dance classes like Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Yoga and Leaps and turns between 3pm and 6pm at $10 a class. The dance schedule is: Monday– 4-5 jazz
5-6 ballet; Tuesday– 4-5 acro, 5-6 yoga; Wednesday– 4-5 stretch and conditioning, 5-6 ballet; Thursday– 4-5 leaps and turns, 5-6 hip hop; and Friday- 4-5 acro. Cost of Camp programs are $250 a week and only require $50 to reserve a spot for week long camps and $250 for 4 week camps. A one time $30 registration fee is applicable if this is their first time with Center Stage.

Session 1, Rock Broadway Musicals begins June 6th and goes for 1 week. Session 2 is a 4 week camp beginning June 13th and will be Alice in Wonderland(ages 5-12) or Addam’s Family (ages 12-18) determined by your child’s age. Session 3 is a 4 week camp beginning July 11th as Bye Bye Birdie (5-12) or Bring it On the Musical (ages 12-18). Our final and 4th camp will be one week long is Scream Queens (ages 12-18) and Disney Princesses (ages 5-12). All 4 camps will conclude with a performance for family members. The American Heritage Summer Institute is an academic enrichment program for high achievers in PK3-12th grade. Our dedicated faculty is comprised of career educators, as well as professionals currently practicing in their fields.
