MAY HIGHLIGHTS
May 4th at 10 -11 a.m. This family program at the Boca Museum of Art features studio workshops for families and intergenerational groups. It focuses on artistic family fun for all ages to learn, create, and enjoy the visual arts. $5 per family.
Mother Nature & Me: Animal Babies on Tuesday, May 7th at Daggerwing Nature Center. 10:30 a.m. Ages 2-5. Call 561-629-870 to preregister. The Nature Center, located in South County Regional Park, has a few events every month.
Mother’s Day Crafts on May 9th at 4 p.m. at the Glades Road Library branch. Easy projects to make for Mother’s Day for ages 4-9. Call 561-482-4554 to preregister.
Eyes to The Skies Indoor Planetarium at Science Explorium on May 10th at 8:30 p.m. Free. This month focus is on Moon & Mars. Located in Sugar Sand Park.
Recommended for Ages 8+, Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
MEET WINNIE THE POOH! May 11th at 5 p.m. at the Boca Black Box. Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where BARCLAY Performing Arts Youngest Stars (Ages 4-11!) bring beloved characters Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, and of course Winnie the Pooh & Christopher Robin to life! With classic lessons of friendship and teamwork, WINNIE THE POOH KIDS is full of everything sweet, and is told by the sweetest cast of 40 budding talents you could ever hope to see!
Practically Perfect: The Music of Julie Andrews at The Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park. May 11th at 8 p.m & May 12th at 1 p.m. $22 per person, $27 per child for “Tea with Mary Poppins Meet and Greet” on Sunday.
