There will be a bipartisan candidate forum at the Boca Greens Country Club on Tuesday, October 2nd. Democrats slated to appear include Joe Abbruzzo, Tom Gustafson and David Lutrin. Republican candidates Melanie Peterson and James Ryan O’Hara will also appear. Independent congressional candidate Cesar Henao is also on the list.
Peterson and Abbruzzo are both running for the state Senate seat that represents West Boca. O’Hara is running for the Florida House seat that represents us, with no word yet on whether Democrat Kevin Rader will show up.
Similarly, Henao is seeking to represent us in Congress. Will incumbent Ted Deutch, who lives only a few miles away, show up?
The event is hosted by the Palm Beach County Tea Party and South Florida 912. It opens at 5:30 for the bar. Dinner ($15) starts at 6 pm and the forum itself starts at 7. Questions will focus on fiscal issues, free markets, and limited government.
