Smoked Calabrian Chile Shrimp at Olive Garden

Just a quick review of a new dish at Olive Garden – the Smoked Calabrian Chile Shrimp.

The dish has a bunch of small shrimp in a tomatoey sauce over ravioli, topped with some spinach.
It’s not bad. But I don’t notice anything smoky or spicy in it. So the name is but misleading. And i doubt there’s anything like this in Calabria. Baby shrimp ravioli marinara might be a more appropriate name, and it’s pretty good under that description.
On the plus side, the shrimp may be small but there are a lot of them. Don’t eat the ravioli too fast or you’ll lose the delicate balance.
