Spanish River's Class of 2013 Officially Ends the School Year

On Friday, May 10th, Spanish River High School’s seniors said their final goodbyes. The class of 2013 was amazing.
From an academic standpoint, this year’s class has been historic. Last year’s valedictorian wouldn’t have even finished in the top 15 of this year’s class. This year’s valedictorian finished with a 4.0 GPA and 5.5 HPA. More student’s then ever before have been admitted to Ivy League schools such as Princeton and MIT. On top of that, most of the graduating seniors who will be staying in Florida, will be going to UF and FSU.
It is inspiring to see the academic progress the school is making. It gives a lot of underclassmen and incoming 9th graders the message that if you take school seriously from day one, you will be rewarded!
