June Chamber Breakfast

The West Boca Chamber had its June breakfast today, with the usual excellent buffet at Boca Greens. We were happy to see some new faces, including Sgt. Conley filling in for Capt. Eisenberg.

The speaker was Anita Elias. She addressed the question: “How can I network and actually enjoy it?”
She did a wonderful series of “exercises” getting everyone to stand up in a group, showing how we can learn more about each other and ourselves.

She also did a nice twist on a JFK line: Ask not what your connections can do for you. Ask what you can do for them.
There were a couple of administrative changes. Executive Director Sherry Grandmaison has moved home to Canada. Madeline Evans-Ervin is stepping down as Chair but will remain on the board. The remainder of her term as Chair will be served by Jeff Karsin. Jeff’s wife will replace Ms. Grandmaison.
