Blood Donation at West Boca High

As the school year starts, Community Blood Centers of Florida (changing name to One Blood)is now doing blood drives at area schools.
West Boca High is putting pre-med students from its Medical Sciences Academy to work. The blood drive here today is full of black-shirted teens helping donors and staff.
There’s a lot of activity with four or more blood buses, along with staff, donors and volunteers.

Blood donation is painless, except for the bureaucracy and extensive background questions. Apparently cruising to Central America can be a problem but Caribbean Island stops might be okay.
