Parkland Concert Series

We went to Parkland’s monthly concert this evening at Pine Trails Park. Tonight is a Dave Matthews tribute band.
There were several food trucks including Lucille’s on Wheels, Paradise Shave Ice, Veggie Xpress, and a few more. Others in our group ordered from Lucille’s and enjoyed it.

I went to Veggie Xpress. I did a special order of the “Burrito Burger”. Normally it comes in a wrap but I asked for mine on top of lettuce. They accommodated my request. I also got a side of quinoa with roasted vegetables.

The food was excellent, though I would have liked more vegetables in the quinoa. The service was slow, though it appeared they were training a new guy. The two dishes cost $13 as a meal deal. They used Square to process my credit card and emailed me a receipt.
We also had shaved ice from Paradise. One s’mores flavor, which was quite good, and one skittles which was just ok.

Finally, the concert itself was fine. There was a good crowd, kids playing, and plenty of parking. There was a visible and friendly police presence.
The band, Crowded Streets, did a fine job with Dave Matthews tunes.
