Girls on the Run in Boca Raton

Girls on the Run Palm Beach is having a 5k Fun Run or Walk on December 7th at the Peter Blum YMCA in Boca Raton. T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by November 30th. Women, men, girls and boys are invited to participated and all participants receive medals, race bibs and accuchip timing. There will also be a 1 mile fun run or walk. The cost to register is $25 for the 5k and $15 for the 1 mile run. Start time is 7:30 a.m.
Girls on the Run PBC is part of an international nonprofit organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident. It is a prevention program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade and includes a 24 lesson curriculum. The program encourages girls to be independent thinks and make healthy decisions.
