December at Daggerwing

Daggerwing Nature CenterGPS Discovery, December 7th, 10-11:30 a.m.
Kids 8-15 are invited to learn about GPS technology and use their skills outdoors.
Owl Pellet Dissection, December 21st, 1 p.m.
Children ages 5 and up can meet the resident owl, Shadow. In the lab, students will learn about the anatomy and behavior of owls. They will also participate in a lab where they can identify the leftovers of an owl’s meal.
Fishing Fun, December 27th, 10-11:30 a.m.
Kids 8-15 will learn the basics for freshwater fishing and practice their new schools. All fishing supplies are provided. Bring sunscreen, a water bottle and closed-toe or water shoes that can get wet/muddy.
