Winter Break Camps in West Boca

There are a few options for camp during the winter break. The Peter Blum Family YMCA will be holding a Funday Holiday camp for kindergarten through fifth graders. The camp runs 7:30 to 6 p.m. and includes games, swimming and arts and crafts. Children should bring their own lunch and a swimsuit. The cost is $40 for members and $70 for non-members. Call 561-392-6021 for available dates. The Y is also offering a winter aquatic camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for kids age 5-11 and a camp sea monkeys from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 3-5. A five day package is $195 for members and $295 for participants. The camp takes place Dec 23,27, 30, January 2 and 3.
The Levis JCC winter camp is for K-5 and runs from Dec 23-27 (no camp Dec 25) and Dec 30-Jan 3 (no camp Jan 1). Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids enjoy art, kidfit, gym and special entertainment. The cost is $75 per child per day or $275 per week. Children must bring their own kosher dairy and peanut free lunch.
Gymnastics Plus is offering winter camp December 23-31 (no Dec 25) and January 2,3 and 6th. Camp is 9 am to 3 pm for ages 5+ and half day for age 4. The cost is $55 per day if pre-registered 7 days before or $60. The cost for a half day is $30/35. Multiple day discounts are available. The gym is located at 9793 Glades Road.
