Crime Report: Cocaine, DUI, Fraud and More

slutzkin-jensen
The most serious criminal charge of the week may be Jared Slutzkin (above left, 36), accused of possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested Friday and released the same day, without having to post a bond.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty. In South Florida that rarely happens.
Mr. Slutzkin’s reported address is in Century Village (off Lyons near Yamato), in a unit apparently owned by his father. Mr. Slutzkin has a mostly clean history, though we do see a felony charge that was dropped back in 2004.
The founders of West Boca News have long opposed the drug war. Arrests like these are a waste of taxpayer money, causing needless harm to those arrested and to their families.
Above right is Paul Jensen, 54, accused of disorderly intoxication in a public place and resisting an officer without violence. He was arrested Friday night and released early this morning. His reported address is in the east side of Boca Del Mar, but the arrest was by PBSO, suggesting that he was outside city lines. With a clean history, these misdemeanors are likely to get dropped.
delgado
In the DUI world, Jason Delgado (above left, 29) was arrested early this morning for DUI based on blood alcohol content. He was released a few hours later. His reported address is in the Country Landing III subdivision of Loggers Run, and he appears to be an Olympic Heights graduate. Per court records he has had a few other incidents and was sentenced to probation in 2012 for battery and resisting an officer. He successfully completed a year of probation. The original charge in that case was a felony. He also had a minor marijuana case back in 2006 and an emergency curfew violation in 2004 during Hurricane Ivan. Those were both dropped.
eyal
We had a “fraud” case this week. Jacob Eyal (above left, 63) of Boca Isles North is accused of “defrauding an innkeeper” with the amount in dispute being less than $300. He was arrested early Friday morning. We’re not sure why it took so long but he was held for over 40 hours until Saturday evening and then released without having to post a bond. The case does not show up in the court records yet. Other than a few tickets he otherwise has a clean history in the county.

Last we have a trio with lengthy histories, all arrested at roughly the same time Thursday evening by Boca PD for municipal ordinance violations. They’re accused of consuming alcohol in a city park. We didn’t even know that was illegal.
Two of them are West Boca residents. Donald Wright (above left, 46) has a reported address on Glades just east of 441. Catherine Dajnowski (center, 40) has a reported address just off of Sandalfoot Blvd, west of 441. Ms. Dajnowski previously appeared on West Boca News in December for allegedly making an improper 911 call. The arrest report and court records show that this arrest was also for “failure to appear” on that case. Mr. Wright’s arrest also noted a failure to appear. The third, Trevor Clark (right, 46), resides in east Boca.
