We were in the plaza southwest of Palmetto Park and Powerline yesterday, checking out the new Movement fitness studio. We saw the above. Brooklyn Water Bagel is taking over the location formerly occupied by Hurricane Grill and Wings. The latter apparently closed sometime in late 2013, going out with a whimper.
Construction is under way and we saw work going on. We contacted the company. There is no “official opening date” yet, but they are hoping to open their doors “around May.”
We’ve heard from sources that their bagels are fantastic. The company spin:
