There is an activity for kids everyday this week at the library.
On Monday, July 7th, The West Boca Public Library will hold Baby Story Time. Starting at 10:30 a.m., baby and caregivers can enjoy stories, songs and finger plays. Ages 3-12 months. The Glades Public Library invites kids ages 6-9 to play with Lots O’Legos at 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, July 8th, kids ages 8-12 can learn a new skill at Introduction to Crochet. Class starts at 3 p.m. and will continue for 4 weeks. Supplies are provided. Or play Glow Games at 6 p.m. Kids ages 11-17 can play glow in the dark games. Both these activities take place at the Glades Public Library.
On Wednesday, July 9th, kids ages 8-12 can take part in the Hands-on Science and Math Club at Glades Public Library. This club meets at 4 p.m. and will meet for 4 weeks. This week kids can learn the basics of coding and secret messages. Tween Wii Time at the West Boca Public Library starts at 3:30 p.m. Teens ages 10-14 can enjoy racing, dancing or sports on the Wii.
On Thursday, July 10th, its Firefighter to the Rescue! Kids ages 5 and up meet Elyse Weintraub Brown from the PBC Fire Rescue and learn about fire safety, create an art project and get an up close look at a red fire engine.
On Friday, July 11th, its movie day! The Glades Public Library is playing Frozen (PG) at 3 p.m. The West Boca Library is showing The Pirate Fairy (G) at 2:30 p.m.
