Restaurant Inspections: Early July

sicilian-oven-boca
The new Sicilian Oven near Boca Town Center leads off our restaurant inspections with a perfect zero violations in their licensing inspection. Their website also indicates they’re now hiring for the Boca location, and they should be opening soon.
Also appearing with perfect inspections are Piattini (following a poor showing in our last report), Trattoria Romana on East Palmetto Park Road, Bocaire Country Club (one day after having 3 violations that required a callback), Oriental Express on West Camino Real, the new El Jefe Luchador in Town Center, Burger King on Palmetto near Powerline, and Holloway’s Pub at SW 18th and Powerline.
Near-misses with only one violation include Marti’s Deli, Chipotle and Sushi Yan on Federal Highway, Below Zeero on NW 2nd Ave, and Subperb Subs on NW 20th. Night Owl Bar and Grill near Subperb had three minor violations.
