What's Happening at the Library this Week?
There are lots of activities for kids this week at the West Boca and Glades branch of the Library. Please preregister at 482-4554 (Glades) and 470-1600 (West Boca).
On July 14th, at 11 a.m. (Glades) and 3:30 p.m. (West Boca) join Mark Fisher for Ocean Science. Mark will explore the extraordinary lives of ocean dwllers by using the scientific method to uncover the mysteries of live sea animals. Ages 5 and up are welcome for this 45 minute program.
At 6:30 p.m. (West Boca) make Creative Paper Beads and string a beautiful bracelet of your own design. Grades 6-12. Program is 60 minutes.
On July 16th, at 3:30 p.m. (West Boca) Story Time in Spanish. Miercoles 16 de julio, Ciencia Impresionante. Se requiere registrarse.
On July 17th, at 11 a.m. (Glades) meet McGruff the Crime Dog. A PBC Sheriff will provide you with an identity kit for your child in case of an emergency. All ages welcome. Kits will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
At 3 p.m. is Minecraft Meetup. Bring your device and challenge other players. Snacks and crafts included. Ages 8-12 can enjoy this 90 minute activity.
