SOL Children Theatre presents Hairspray

SOL Children Theatre’s Summer Camp will be presenting Hairspray at the The Levis JCC Sandler Center on August 6th and 7th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each. To buy tickets call 561-447-8829 or seat yourself.
The Broadway production of Hairspray opened in 2002. It was based on the 1988 John Waters film. The musical is about a teenager, Tracy Turnblad, who dreams of dancing on The Corny Collins show and the features 1960s dance music and rhythm and blues. Tracy launches a campaign to integrate the show. The musical won 8 Tony Awards.
