Saturday, October 4th is Art-e-ology at the Boca Raton Museum of Art located in Mizner Park. From 1 to 2:30 p.m., kids from grades 3 to 5 can learn about an artist currently on exhibit and create a masterpiece in that style. The artist for this weekend is Wendy Wischer, creator of Nature Sculptures. For Reservations call 561-392-2500 x.106. This program is free for children of museum members and $5 for non-members.
Also this weekend is ARTful Adventure Sunday at 2 p.m. This family program features art workshops that draw inspiration from the Museum’s permanent collection. This month’s theme is Mixed Media Collage. The program is free but doesn’t include museum admission.
