Updates on Home Invasion and Rollover
PBSO responded to our inquiry about two recent incidents. First, regarding the Wednesday night home invasion in The Oaks:
Victims were inside the residence when the unknown suspect entered utilizing the kitchen slider door. Once inside, he demanded all of the jewelry and cash from the victims while brandishing the handgun. Victim told the suspect the home silent alarm had gone off and he only had 2 minutes before the police arrived. The suspect took the cash from victim’s purse and fled out the same slider he entered. This case remains OPEN.
In other words, there’s a very bad man out there who has learned he can commit a crime and get away with it. Sadly our prosecutors and courts in South Florida teach that lesson to many. West Boca still has a low crime rate compared to most of South Florida, but this guy is still out there and he’s not alone. Lock your doors.
