What to Do Thanksgiving Weekend
Watch the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, presented by The City of Boca Raton, at Mizner Park on November 26th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be carnival rides and games, a festive stage show, children’s crafts and activities, and a fireworks finale. This is a Free event for families and there is free trolley service.
Go for a Turkey Trot on November 27th at 7:30 a.m. at the South County Regional Park. Its the Levis JCC 6th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk. Check in and registration is from 6 to 7 a.m. and there is a Youth 1 mile fun run at 8:30 a.m. 5K Runners 10 and under are $15 and 5k runners aged 11 and over are $30 or $35 on race day. The fun run is $10.
