Wondering what to do with the kids over the long winter break? One option is to send your kids to camp. A few schools and clubs are offering full day or half day programs.
The Levis JCC is offering camps for preschoolers and grades K-8th. Winter camp is open December 22, 23, 24, 26, 29, 30, 31 and January 2nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The preschool program offers a different theme for everyday. The grade K-5 camp includes science experiments, woodworking, entertainment, play time and pool time and arts & crafts. The cost before December 15th is $65 per day or $240 for four consecutive days. After December 15th it goes up to $70 per day or $260 for four consecutive days. There is also a Maccabi Sports Academy for Soccer and Basketball for grades 1-8. Gymnastics Plus is open December 22 through January 5th but closed December 25th and January 1st. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and lunch is included. Half day is also available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Call 561-353-1974 for more information.

Be an Animal Keeper for a Day at Daggerwing Nature Center. This program is December 23 and 30 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Ages 8-15 are eligible and the cost is $10 per child, per class. Reservations are required. Please call 561-629-8760.
The Science Explorium at Sugar Sand Park has camp days December 29, 30, 31 and January 2nd from 9 am to 1 p.m. This camp is for grades 1-5 and includes activities, experiments, games and more. The cost is $25 for residents, $31.25 for non-residents. Call 561-347-3912 for more information.
