Weekend Roundup: June 11-14, 2015

Learn about Sharks on June 11th at 11 a.m. at the Glades Road Library. See jaws and teeth from two dozen sharks. Each child will go home with a genuine fossil shark tooth. Ages 5 and up. Call 482-4554 to preregister. Also at the West Boca Library at 3 p.m.

Solve a Mystery on June 12th at the Sol Theatre. Presenting The Mystery of Edwin Drood, June 12-28. Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for juniors and $15 for adults. This show is for children over 10 years of age. Call 561-447-8829.

See Little Shop of Horrors on June 12th at the West Boca Performing Arts Center. This is the last show by Slow Burn Productions at West Boca High School.  Showtimes are June 12 and 13 at 8 p.m. and June 14 at 2 p.m. Runs through June 28th. Read our review.
Eyes to the Skies on June 12th at the Children’s Science Explorium in Sugar Sand Park. Kids 8 and up with a parent can learn about mythology and celestial objects – Jupiter, Saturn and more. The free program starts at 8 p.m.
Go to Summer Movie Knights on June 12th. Lynn University Volleyball team presents The Lego Movie (PG) Friday Night. Cruise on over to a car show at Packy’s Sports Bar & Grill on June 13th starting at 4 p.m.
Make a Butterfly Garden on June 13th at Daggerwing Nature Center at 1 p.m. All ages are welcome to learn which plants attract butterflies. $3 per participant. Call 561-629-8760 to make a reservation.
