Ms. Ching resides in the Watergate Estates trailer park off in West Sandalfoot. The record shows she was adjudicated in 2010 on two counts from 2008, sexual battery/coerce child by adult, and lewd or lascivious molestation with victim 12-15 years old. We were not able to find more details.
Reggie Cruz also has an address in the trailer park. He was adjudicated in 2003 for a charge of sexual battery on a person less than 12 years old. As best we can tell he was a teen at the time of the offense and may have been as young as 13.
Steven Meizel lives in the Ponderosa subdivision of Loggers’ Run. The predator report from FDLE shows a 1999 adjudication in Broward for sexual battery on a victim who was physically helpless to resist. We do not see that case in the Broward court files, though we do see three other felony cases including a recent failure to report change of address when he lived in Coral Springs, a felon in possession of a firearm, and a cocaine possession charge.
Webber also lives in the trailer park, not far from Ching. His record shows two pairs of adjudications, in 2003 and 2007. Broward court records show four offenses in 2000 involving a victim age 12-15. He would have been 18 at the time. We also see a burglary and grand theft offense date of 2002, aggravated battery in 2004, unlawful sexual activity in 2006, and quite a few traffic cases over the years.
William Pickett lives in the middle of Saddlebrook. He was adjudicated in 2008 for lewd or lascivious conduct with a victim under 16. The Broward case file indicates an offense date in 2006 for lewd act in the presence of a child under 16, and the records show he was sentenced to 10 years.
Corrections records show he served 8 1/2 years, and he had two previous prison stints in Florida including one or more charges of indecent assault on a child under 16 from the 1980s and/or 1990s. Broward shows a sexual assault on a child under 11 from 1991. Orange County shows a sexual battery on a child under 12 from 1990, another one in 1989, and two counts of lewd acts with a child under 16 in the late 1980s.
Further review of the court file shows that the lewd act in the most recent case was French kissing his 9-year-old female cousin. A jury found that was sufficient to convict and Pickett lost on appeal.
Martin Owens lives in the Fanshaw section of Century Village. His record shows an adjudication in 2004 for lewd and lascivious with a child under 16 in Volusia County. Corrections records indicate the offense took place in 1998, and he served about a year.
Owens had a more recent incident in Broward where he was accused of attempting to abduct a 13-year-old girl in 2014.
For some reason Broward prosecutors dropped that case. Then Owens moved to West Boca. He is approaching 82 years old.
