Crime Report: DUI Burglary & Domestic

Lavon Krieg (66, Boca Lyons Estates) was arrested for DUI in Boca Pointe just off SW 18th Street.

The arresting deputy was responding to an attempted suicide call when he noticed Krieg’s SUV driving erratically, almost colliding with a fire truck.

Krieg dumped an unknown liquid from a cup onto the ground when the deputy approached his vehicle. He registered roughly 0.20 on breath testing, more than double the legal limit.

Broken Sound’s Brett Mintz (64) was arrested for domestic battery. His wife accused him of attacking her father (age 84, uses a walker), who has been living with them instead of his facility since the virus outbreak.

She says Brett is an alcoholic and has been “heavily intoxicated”. She claims Brett slapped her father, unprovoked.

We see no priors for Mr. Mintz.
