Arrested for Sending Obscene Material and Using Computer to Lure Minor to Meeting

On August 20, 2024, detectives received information that Roman Gomez sent inappropriate text messages to a minor female. After further investigation detectives found probable cause to arrest Roman Gomez, DOB: 10/7/64. On Thursday, August 22, 2024, Gomez was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.  

Gomez has been charged with multiple felonies including SOLICITING A CHILD FOR UNLAWFUL SEXUAL CONDUCT, 4 counts of TRANSMISSION OF MATERIAL HARMFUL TO MINOR and TRAVEL TO MEET A MINOR. Gomez is a married white male, 5’9″ ads weighing 190 pounds. He is unemployed and residing in Lake Worth.

According to the probable cause affidavit, he sent multiple messages through Facebook messenger including video of himself masturbating.
