Purple for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. If you would like to get involved, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is sponsoring Purple Stride South Florida 2013 on November 24th. This family friendly event is being held at the BB&T Center in Sunrise Florida.  There will be a 5K run and walk as well as children’s activities, entertainment and refreshments. Participants can register the day of the event. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 8:00 a.m. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network funds research and supports patients.
