September Activities at the Library

There are many ongoing activities taking place at the Library this month. Special events are listed in the Weekend Roundup but there is usually something taking place everyday for kids and adults. The branches located in West Boca area are Glades Road at 20701 95th Avenue South and West Boca at 18685 State Road 7. You can call the Glades Road branch at 482-4554 and the West Boca branch at 470-1600.
Little Wonders, Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at Glades Road Public Library. Stories, songs, puppets and movement for babies ages 9-23 months. Preregister.
Itsy Bitsy Babies, September 11 and 25 at 10 a.m. At Glades Road Public Library. Nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs and puppets for babies 3-12 months. September 15th at 10:30 a.m. at West Boca Branch.
EBook Assistance One on One, September 11 at 10:30 a.m. and September 29th at 1:30 p.m. at West Boca and September 11, 18 and 25 at 10 a.m. at Glades Road. Learn how to borrow the library’s ebooks in an individual session. Bring your eReader, laptop, mobile device or tablet and library card. Preregister.
Juicing: Truth and Myths, September 16th at 2 p.m. at Glades Road branch.
Ice Cream Sandwich Day!, September 16th at 4 p.m. at Glades Road branch for ages 5-9. Preregister. Stories, games, crafts and ice cream. Chocolate milkshakes for grades 6 and up at 6 p.m.
Ronald McDonald Show, September 15th at 3:30 p.m. West Boca branch, September 18th at 11 a.m. at Glades Road Branch. Magic and juggling show with audience participation that stresses the importance of reading. All ages. Preregister.
