Dunkin Donuts invited West Boca News to a show and taste of their fall menu. While the event was in East Boca, there’s at least one DD in West Boca so we thought it was worth covering.
We were presented with a variety of pumpkin flavored products, including bagels, munchkins, donuts, muffin and a pumpkin pie filled donut (everyone’s favorite – I heard someone say “mmm that’s good!”). I don’t think we tasted the bagel. Everything else was good.
Then there was the pumpkin coolatta, an iced drink. We also tried an iced latte. I’m not a coffee drinker and the coffee taste was too strong for me. Others liked it.
We also got to sample new sandwiches including roast beef on pretzel roll, corned beef hash, egg and cheese on an English muffin, and Angus beef on Texas toast. The Angus was the best and the pretzel roll was also pretty good. They do breads well. The corned beef one seemed a little odd. Not bad, just odd.
Dunkin Donuts is big on coffee. They’re doing a National Coffee Day event on September 29th including a free small hot or iced coffee. September 28th through 29th there will be a Twitter hour and in store deals on packaged coffee. If you get their phone app, you get additional deals.

Please note that we got some swag for attending. But we have been fans for decades so that didn’t affect our opinions.
