Update: Review of Bistro Gastronomie
Today we noticed a new restaurant will be opening in Yamato Village Center. That’s the plaza on the north side of Yamato at Lake Ridge, between 441 and Lyons. Perhaps better known for Dori’s Market.
Looks like it will have French cuisine. When we find out more we will certainly update our readers.
Update: From Shuster Design Associates, it’s a “new upscale French bistro”. No one ever seems to open a downscale restaurant. Shuster says it:
will seat 150 people [with] extraordinary fine French cuisine by a leading five star chef with an impeccable reputation. The restaurant will be designed with elegance, including private banquette seating, a beautiful bar, fine woods, crystal chandeliers and French artwork.
From other sources we believe the chef is William Walden, formerly of the Goodstone Inn & Restaurant in Washington DC. We can’t verify his number of stars nor whether his reputation has ever been pecked.
