Busy Tuesday: Business Events

Two regular events are occurring on Tuesday the 12th, with a new group having its first.
1. The West Boca Chamber has its monthly breakfast at Boca Greens, from 7:30 – 9:00 am. Speaker will be Sharon Bock, the county’s Court Clerk and Comptroller. It’s $20 if you pay ahead on the website, and $25 at the door.
More details on the West Boca Chamber website.
2. The West Boca Community Council has its monthly evening meeting at Boca Lago. It’s at 7:30 pm, free, and will cover something about parks and recreation. We received an e-mail with few details. We can’t find anything on their website or Facebook page about it though.
3. Barry Epstein informs us that the county Inspector General, Sheryl Steckler, will speak to the new Gold Coast Tiger Bay Club. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Fish Market.
Cost for the event is $25 in advance and $35 at the door for members, $35 in advance and $45 for guests at the door. For information or registration reservations, call 561-852-0000 or go to www.goldcoasttigerbayclub.com.
Barry describes the new group as a non-partisan political club modeled after the National Press Club. It looks like he’s running the show but the site does list twelve others as being on the board of directors.
