We’re trying out a new kind of article. Here are some recent home sales that took place in West Boca. First, in zip code 33428:
Above is 12317 Riverfalls Court, in Boca Falls. This 4-bedroom, 3-bath home, 2,652 square foot one-floor home sold on February 19th for $466,500. The house was built in 1997. This photo may be old and the exterior paint color might be different now.
Boca Falls is a gated community in the far west end of West Boca, between Palmetto Park and Glades, near West Boca High School and the southern entrance to South County Regional Park.
10124 Aqua Vista Way sold on February 18th for $255K. It’s a 3-bedroom, 2 bath house with just under 1900 square feet, and it’s in the Mission Lakes gated community south on 441 behind Sushi Yoshee. The property sits on the county line and has a view of the Loxahatchee Canal. The house was built in 1995.
On February 14th, 21895 Palm Grass Drive in Boca Winds sold for $365,100. It’s a 4-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home with 2,427 square feet, built in 1994. Boca Winds is a non-gated community just south of Boca Falls, at the western end of Palmetto and north of the Loxahatchee Canal.
Located in the Loggers Run gated subdivision, Winding Lake Estates, 21347 Sweetwater Lane sold for $590K on the 13th. It was listed as a 6-bedroom home with two master suites, 3 1/2 baths and nearly 4000 square feet. It was built in 1995. Winding Lake Estates is just west of the intersection of Judge Winikoff and Ponderosa. It was built in 1984 but may have been substantially remodeled.
Turning to zip code 33498, 10386 Islander Drive sold on the 20th for $295K. It’s a 3-bed, 2-bath house with under 1700 square feet, built in 1987. Located in the Lakes at Boca Raton community, it’s northeast of the intersection of Cain and Yamato.
Sold on February 14th for $549,900 was 20149 Palm Island Drive in the gated Boca Isles South development, just west of Cain north of Glades Road. The house was listed as 4 bedrooms 3 baths and 2,660 square feet.
In the 33496 zip code, 8719 Twin Lake Drive was sold for $800K on February 14th. It’s a vacant lot in the prestigious Long Lake Estates (famous for the Mitt Romney “47%” remark). Back in 2004 the lot was purchased for $1.075M and for $1.4M a year earlier. Even back in 1999 it went for $958K. The land has apparently fallen in value. It’s probably Mitt’s fault.
More recently a Woodfield Country Club home sold on the 20th in short sale for $300K. 5411 NW 42nd Ave is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house with almost 2400 square feet.
3037 NW 63rd Street sold for $885K on the 18th. It’s a 5 bedroom with 4 full and 2 half-baths in the gated Seasons neighborhood on the southwest corner of Jog and Clint Moore.
7247 Gateside in St. Andrews Country Club sold on the 14th for $555K. The 1985 house has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in 2,744 square feet.
In zip 33434, 6271 NW 24th Street sold for $406K in the 20th. It’s a 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath house with just over 2000 square feet, in the gated Santa Barbara community northeast of the corner of Glades and Jog.
In 33433, 23441 Torre Circle, in Costa del Sol at Boca Pointe, sold for $309K on the 20th. It has 3 beds, 2 baths with 1,866 square feet.
22636 Caravelle Circle sold in Boca Pointe for $325K on the 18th. It appears to be a 3 bed, 3 bath townhome with over 2700 square feet.
Also on the 18th, 21334 Campo Allegro sold in gated Pradera for $310K, with 3 beds, 2 baths and just under 2100 square feet.
