Here are a few of the Fourth of July celebrations taking place locally:
4th of July Bash!, July 1st at 4 p.m. at the Glades Road Public Library. Wear red, white and blue to celebrate the 4th. Ages 3-8. Call 482-4554 to preregister. Celebrate at the West Boca Branch at 2:30 p.m. Call 470-1600 to preregister.
Seventh Annual July 4th Celebration, Sunset Cove Amphitheater. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. There will be music from Replay, a Kids Fun Zone and fireworks. Food trucks will be on site and blankets and chairs are welcome. Admission is free.
Fabulous Fourth Celebration, Countess deHoernle Park, 1000 NW Spanish River Blvd. 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy the All-Star Band and family activities. Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Food available for purchase. No alcoholic beverages, grills or pets. Free admission.
The Fusion Band, Delray Marketplace. Special performance from 8 to 11 p.m.
City of Delray Beach July 4th Celebration, Delray Municipal Beach at Ocean Blvd/SR A1A and Atlantic Avenue. Activities and entertainment start at 8 a.m.. Zambelli fireworks start at 9 p.m. Free admission. For more information about street closures and parking click here.
Fireworks by Grucci of New York, Seminole Casino at Coconut Creek, July 3rd at 9 p.m. Free public viewing area in the Casino’s West Parking Lot and Garage opens at 8 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
