On Monday, January 26th, students in Waters Edge Elementary School’s Samaritans365 club will be giving back to the community. From 2 to 3 p.m., club members will learn about family homelessness and raise money for Family Promise of South Palm Beach County through the “Houses for Change” fundraiser and awareness campaign. Students will assemble house-shaped collection boxes that they will fill with change and donate to Family Promise. They will also learn how they can help homeless families with children.
Waters Edge Elementary’s Samaritan365 club is part of the nonprofit Samaritans365 Foundation, which helps students learn about different ways they can contribute a make a difference in the community. For more information, call 561-357-1114.
