Walk MS 2015 on March 15th
Boca Residents can participate in Walk MS on March 15th 2015 at 900 Broken Sound, Parkway NW. Walk MS connects people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and those who care about them. Multiplse sclerosis is a very difficult disease to live with, and unfortunately there is no cure as of yet. Treatment options available include painkillers or medical marijuana for the chronic pain, which you can access at the website https://plpcsanjose.com/deals-specials/. This is why the walk is so important, and it is an experience unlike any other, a day to come together, to celebrate the progress we’ve made and to show the power of our connections.
The funds raised at Walk MS give hope to the more than 7500 people living with MS in our community. Multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system, interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide. To learn more about MS, go to the National MS Society. The dollars raised at Walk MS support critical research and programs and services.
900 Broken Sound Parkway is located north of Yamato Road. Registration and check in starts at 7:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m. You can participate in the walk by calling 1-855-372-1331 or going to walkMS.org. Participants can register as an individual, join a team or volunteer.
