Congressional Art Competition

congressionalartcompetitionCongressman Ted Deutch recently announced the 2015 Artistic Discovery Art competition for high school students in Florida’s 21st district. The competition is an annual contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives in which every congressional district selects a winning piece of artwork from a local high school student.
The winner of the award will have his or her artwork hung on display for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. The winner will also receive 2 free plane tickets to Washington D.C. in June 2015 for special events held in honor of Artistic Discovery winners from across America.
Students may submit a maximum of 3 pieces of artwork to Congressman Deutch’s Boca Raton office at 7900 Glades Road, Suite 250, Boca Raton, FL by 5 p.m. on April 10, 2015. For more information and all the rules, go to Congressional Art Competition.
