Celebrate Mothers on May 9th at the Library. Take part in My Mother is Mine, a special storytime for ages 3-8, at the Glades Road Library at 3 p.m. Or go to the West Boca Library for their special storytime in honor of mothers at 10:30 a.m. (ages 3 and up). Or take your kid to the library at 2:30 p.m. for Mother/Child Craft-n-Snack, grades 3-6. Preregister for all programs.
Join the Relay for Life Fundraiser on May 9th at Mizner Park Amphitheater. The Relay is from 4 to 11 p.m. There will be free musical performances by Mr. Bobby Kas, Raine and The Southern Rock Society Band. The Relay raises funds for The American Cancer Society.
Have a Splashing Good Time at the Coconut Cove Waterpark now open on Weekends. The Waterpark is located in the South County Regional Park. May hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The water playground only is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Daily admission is $10.60 for those 12 and older, $8.60 for children 3 to 11 and $3.60 for toddlers. Season passes and lower rates after 3 p.m. and on Family Fun Fridays in May.
