Crime Report
A Loggers’ Run sex offender was picked up on a warrant. A Woodfield man was wrongly accused of drunk driving. A 93-year-old man from Century Village faces battery allegations. And various activity in the Sandalfoot area including one very angry daughter.
Steven Meizel, a resident of Loggers’ Run and registered sex offender, was arrested on a warrant out of Broward County for violating his probation. The violation accuses him of failing to keep his GPS locator bracelet on.
He’s on probation there for failing to report to law enforcement.
93-year-old Howard Feldman was arrested for felony battery against his 79-year-old wife. The couple live in the Preston subdivision of Century Village.
She accused him of putting her in a choke-hold during a heated argument. He denied the choke hold but was nevertheless arrested and charged with a felony. His case is being handled in Veterans Court.
Ashney Cajuste of Tudor Woods in West Boca is back in our pages after a previous arrest in April.
He has quite a past:
That April case against the 28-year-old was dropped by prosecutors, so Cajuste returns now with a “robbery with a firearm” charge along with grand theft and felon in possession of a firearm charges.
According to the victims, Cajuste and his friend “Geetchie” came to the victims’ apartment and was let in because they know each other. The incident happened in August in Delray Beach. Cajuste then pulled out a handgun while Geetchie stole various items and the two drove off in Cajuste’s SUV. A warrant was issued and Cajuste was arrested on October 11th.
Cajuste was born in Boca. The paperwork does not identify Geetchie beyond the nickname.
Mark Lester (56) of the Courtyards at Boca townhomes near Del Prado Elementary was arrested for disorderly intoxication and assault after an incident in Boynton Beach near I-95.
Lester accosted a tow truck driver who was assisting another vehicle. When the driver was unable to help him, Lester got angry, threatened to punch him, and threw a car battery and an umbrella onto the tow truck.
We don’t see anything significant in Lester’s court history.
30-year-old Stephen Shannon was arrested for domestic battery. A 2018 domestic battery charge against him was dropped by prosecutors.
In the previous incident when he and his girlfriend lived in East Boca, police were called by her mother and the girl was found with injuries.
In this incident, with the two now living in a Watergate Estates trailer, she was again found injured. As she tells the story the two of them were in the Benihana parking lot when he became belligerent. She grabbed a gun, and shot out the driver’s car window to scare him away.
They returned to their trailer where he became upset and started hitting her. He said she was drunk and acting crazy and her injuries were from a fall.
We don’t know what to believe but this relationship looks like a train wreck.
Very close to Mr. Shannon’s trailer, Richard Utter (51) and Terry Touchton-Utter (65) had their own incident in their trailer. Deputies executed a search warrant and found 6 crack pipes.
Both have appeared in our crime reports for drug arrests in the past.
Jacklyn Smith (30) of SW 66th Avenue in Sandalfoot Cove was arrested for battery after attacking her father (64) during a car ride to buy cigarettes. Since that first incident she was arrested again for violating a no-contact order and threatening to attack her father with a large wooden club.
She’s had quite a few cases and even did a stint in prison a few years back. So if you see her on Tinder, maybe swipe left.
