Local Teacher Wins Award

Congratulations to Spanish River High School’s Chorus Director and Fine Arts Department Chair Alex Kovalsky on being awarded the first annual Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Educator of the Year Award! (Palm Beach County School District)

Mr. Kovalsky teaches chorus, keyboard, and Advanced Placement (AP) Music Theory at Spanish River High School. He was chosen for this award for his outstanding teaching of music education as well as his extensive history of collaborating with the center’s education staff to provide life-changing opportunities for local students.
