Loggers’ Run Home Sales Slow
Loggers’ Run saw 15 single family homes sales along with 10 Timberwalk townhomes in the first half of 2020. This is a huge drop from the pace in 2019 when 61 single family homes sold for the full year.
Loggers’ Run Single Family Homes
The median sale price for single family homes dropped nearly $30,000.
As with last year there was one big transaction. 21406 Sweetwater Lane sold for $885,000. The 5-bedroom, 4-bath house has over 4500 square feet of living space.
From there it was a drop of over $350,000 to the next homes in Island Lakes.
Homes in the Island Lakes gated subdivision continue to get good prices. 20650 Bay Brooke Lane sold for $530,000, while nearby 11161 Island Lakes Lane sold for $515,000. Both homes have 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 2400 square feet.
It was a small drop from there to a few sales in the Cimarron and Indian Head subdivisions.
Cimarron’s 21479 Woodchuck Way sold for $477,500 with 4 bedrooms with just over 2200 square feet.
For just a tiny bit less, 21044 Shady Vista Lane in Indianhead sold for $477,000, also with 4 bedrooms but under 2100 square feet.
Back in Cimarron, 21784 Little Bear Lane sold for $465,000. This is another 4-bedroom but with 3 full baths and a quiet location. The house has nearly 2300 square feet.
The remaining transactions were all $400,000 or less. The median deal (half priced higher, half priced lower) was 11386 Shiloh for $398,000, a 4-bedroom with under 2000 square feet. Most homes sold in less than a month.

Timberwalk Townhomes
Nearly all transactions were between $250,000 and $300,000, with two units selling for less. One was a bank-owned (post-foreclosure) home.
The average and median price were both around $258,000. Most are 1200 square foot models with a few over 1400 square feet.
