Chris Farnell Arrested?
The Sun Sentinel reports that Chris Farnell, an Olympic Heights alum, was arrested Monday. The mug shot reflects injuries consistent with the report of physical conflict with police. Farnell has a Facebook page, though most of it is private. We did find a couple photos that seem to match the mug shot. The Sheriff’s website…
Chamber Breakfast: August 13
West Boca Chamber will have its monthly breakfast networking event on August 13th. As usual it starts at 7:30 am at the Boca Greens Country Club, and it’s $20 if you pay in advance. The speakers this month: Stephanie Horvath & Ina Zimmerman from Barrington Terrace will speak on Memory Care and Independent Living facilities….
Playtown Cafe Closing?
Boca News Now reports that Playtown Cafe is closing. We liked the place but disagree with calling it extremely popular. We visit the Boca Greens plaza frequently and the cafe is usually empty. West Boca News wishes the owners well in their next endeavor.
Kid Dinner Deal at Original Pancake House
We stumbled onto a good deal tonight. At Original Pancake House (NW corner of Lyons and Glades), kids eat free off the kid menu weekdays at dinner. This works only if they’re accompanied by adults who order off the maim menu. See it for yourself on the Original Pancake House website.
