The Palm Beach Post reports that 27-year-old Damian Vaudo died in a car crash near the intersection of Palmetto and Ponderosa.

Chris Farnell Arrested?
The Sun Sentinel reports that Chris Farnell, an Olympic Heights alum, was arrested Monday. The mug shot reflects injuries consistent with the report of physical conflict with police. Chamber Breakfast: August 13
West Boca Chamber will have its monthly breakfast networking event on August 13th. As usual it starts at 7:30 am at the Boca Greens Country Club, and it’s $20 if you pay in advance. Playtown Cafe Closing?
Boca News Now reports that Playtown Cafe is closing. We liked the place but disagree with calling it extremely popular. We visit the Boca Greens plaza frequently and the cafe is usually empty. West Boca News wishes the owners well in their next endeavor.
