Daggerwing Nature Center will have some Earth Day activities for kids on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Perhaps the biggest draw will be a ladybug release at roughly 12:45 pm. And on Sunday from 1-4 pm, there will be an Earth Day fair at the “Youth Activities Center” in Veterans Park. Read more…
West Boca Medical Center recently announced its new Breast Center, which it says will “provide one location for all aspects of breast care including prevention, early disease detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions.” While we certainly appreciate any effort to provide better care, we did a little research and found something that didn’t fit….
The Levis JCC Zale Preschool is holding an Open House on Sunday, April 21,from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There will be a wild animal show, puppet show, bounce house and more. You can also take a tour of the school. The Levis JCC is located at Glades Roade and 95th Ave.
The West Boca Chamber will have a networking event on April 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. In an unusual move, this will be held in East Boca, at the Tanzy Restaurant in Mizner Park (part of the iPic Theatre). It’s $10 each, and includes appetizers and a drink.
