Author of "A German Life" to Speak at Congregation B'nai Israel

To Speak About his Father’s Nazi Past, His Conversion to Judaism and
Move to Israel
Dr. Bernd Wollschlaeger, author of “A German Life,” will speak on March 24 at 7 p.m. at Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI) to discuss learning the truth about his German father’s life as a highly decorated German tank commander in WWII and his father’s role as a Nazi and lack of regret about the Holocaust. Wollschlaeger will also address his delving into Judaism, followed by his eventual conversion and move to Israel.  Dr. Wollschlaeger will sign books immediately after the talk. This talk is the last of five in the highly acclaimed 2014-2015 “CBI Talks…Speaker Series” events.
