Slime and Mold in East Boca Japanese Restaurant

A popular East Boca Japanese restaurant tops this week’s inspection report with the most violations and one of the more disgusting lines we’ve read in an inspection.

Plenty of good news this week as well including a perfect inspection at a West Boca Italian restaurant.

Fortunately that was the only really bad inspection. Most of the rest were either good or not too bad.

Best of the week was a perfect inspection for Dominic’s by Home Depot – zero violations.

The near-perfect group this week included Town Center Mall’s California Pizza Kitchen and in-store cafes at Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s.

Aloha Poke near Home Depot was close with 2 violations, as was the Sandalfoot Taco Bell.

Also doing pretty well were:

  • Anzo in Shadowood and the new Osprey Point restaurant each had 3 minor violations
  • Cheesecake Factory and Capital Grille had 3 each; Grand Lux had 4 violations
